Vincent loves playing the trumpet, taking music lessons, reading literature books, listening to music. He hates going to the disco and wasting time. But most of ah he dislikes people shouting and arguing ah the time.

Sophie bates cooking, cleaning, setting the table, doing the dishes and the housework. She loves playing football, basket and tennis.

Make up a conversation between Sophie and Vincent telling their preferences. Then, practice the questions and answers.

Vincent is a young and quiet boy. He loves playing two musical instruments: the trumpet and the viola. He wants to take music lessons and to learn a lot. He enjoys reading novels and short stories. He prefers to listen to music. He hates going to discotheques. He hates wasting time and he dislikes arguing with people and people who keep shouting all the time.

Sophie, on the contrary, is a sports enthusiast. She loves doing ah kinds of sports. She loves playing football, basketball, all tennis. She hates traditional women activities. She hates cooking, cleaning the house, and even setting the table. She refuses to do the dishes or any housework. She doesn’t like to wear any make-up.

Read these conversations. Practice with a partner.
